The Night Shadow – Cheri Vause

It’s 1964, and the world has seen the tragedy of losing a President of the United States, but the first four years of the sixties has given Esther Charlemagne grief of her own; the loss of her son, her marriage, and a breast to cancer. Her private investigator partner, Aiden “Mac” McManus, also her former partner on the homicide squad of the NYPD, has moved her from New York to LA in order to heal and begin a new life, hopefully with him. Their firm is making them just enough to live and keep their doors open, but a case walks in the door that just might end the LA office forever, taking them back to New York City to face all their old demons.

The famous choreographer for the New York City Ballet Company, and Sally Kirkland have minor roles in the story.
