My Name is Rebecca: A Novelette is historical fiction. It is the story of a father who brought his sons to America from Russia to escape religious persecution in the early 1900s. The voyage to America is detailed, as is the process of going though Ellis Island. After living in New York’s Lower East Side for a short time, they relocated to Racine, Wisconsin.
My Name is Rebecca: A Novelette is a story of family, love, and culture that is passed down to future generations. Regardless of who we are, where we came from, or when our families came to America, we are all connected through a story like the one I have written.
