No good deed goes unpunished.
Welsh longbow maker and archer, Will Bowman, is late getting to the archery tournaments this year and has to return to old stamping grounds he has mostly avoided for years, using an alias.
He sees an ancient bow, used by a youth too young to draw it fully, that draws him into remembering a good deed he has long strived unsuccessfully to forget.
Set in the English Midlands around 45 years after the Norman Conquest.
This historical romance novella is coupled with a bonus novella, “The Chocolate Rose”, a pre-industrial fantasy of magic, a wicked uncle, a pair of princes and a witch (plus, of course, chocolate!).
