The tile of this collection – This I Cannot Explain – was as a result of the different array of emotions: frustration, angst, faith, betrayal, love, peace, war and career. The author feels deep-down that these emotions are tearing him up and he struggles to free himself from any that wants to dominate the others and seeks to maintain a balance. It’s a good read for all who love poetry.
