The year is 2099, and the CEOs of America rule a flooded, polluted wasteland. To them, living atop a metaphorical mountain of gold with hundreds of thousands of capitalist serfs at their disposal, life has never looked brighter. But to everyone else, who must grovel in order to obtain food, board, and employment, life is as dreary as it is inescapable.
Freddie Molloy, a mutated victim of the system, has already accepted that nothing will ever change. That positive change is beyond humanity’s reach.
